That sinking feeling: San Fran's luxury leaning tower

Forget the Leaning Tower of Pisa - a luxury apartment building in San Fransico is quickly getting its own tilted reputation.

Each apartment in the Millenium Tower is worth at least US$2.1 million but the building is slowly cracking, and heading towards to Pacific Ocean.

The 58-storey tower, built in 2008, has sunk 40 centimetres into the ground but is also leaning 38 centimetres to the west.

The building's movement is particularly concerning because San Francisco sits on several faultlines.
