American retail giant Amazon has revealed a new aircraft as part of its move into air freight.

"Amazon One", the first Amazon-branded Boeing 767, performed a flyover as part of Seattle's Seafair summer festival.

The plane comes as part of a promise to get deliveries out to Amazon Prime members as quickly as possible, and is one of 11 dedicated aeroplanes Amazon currently uses.

Over the past six months, Amazon has leased 40 air freighters and intends to roll these out in the coming months.

The move into air freight comes ahead of the highly speculated Amazon Prime drone delivery service.
