A daredevil climber known as the 'French Spiderman' has scaled an 185-metre skyscraper in the Paris suburb of La Defense - without a harness.

Urban climber Alain Robert made his ascent up the Engie skyscraper in 55 minutes, the Telegraph reports.

On December 12 2013, Mr Robert climbed the Metropolis in Auckland CBD, a 40-storey building which is considered one of the most exclusive apartment buildings.
