A young girl in Florida showcased her MacGyver-like skills in a video showing how to escape from plastic zip ties on her wrists using just her shoelaces, "in case you ever get kidnapped".
Mum Michelle O'Neal posted the video of her daughter to Facebook, and it has since been shared tens of thousands of times.
"Could your kids escape if they were handcuffed with a zip tie?" writes Ms O'Neal. "Teach them how to free themselves in less than a minute! #escapezipties."
In the video, the girl unlaces her shoes and reties them through the cable ties.
She then uses her legs to work the laces back and forth like a saw and snap the cable.
The video has been viewed nearly 60 million times and has won the praise of concerned parents and police departments.
