Typhoon Megi has left destruction throughout Taiwan and southeast China - with at least four people dead, hundreds injured, and millions without power as a result of the storm.
But one woman's act of pure nonchalance amid all the chaos has gone viral, after a photo of her eating a pork bun while standing in the middle of a street mid-typhoon was published in the Wall Street Journal.
The image shows her chowing down on the much-loved Chinese snack, as the raging wind and near-sideways rain gradually destroys her umbrella.
Chinese publication Apple Daily tracked the woman down to quiz her on what she was thinking eating a pork bun in such apocalyptic weather - and to let her know she was now an internet sensation.
Fifty-three-year-old Ms Dai told them she was "very angry" and wanted to sue the photographer, before adding that she was willing to provide a "normal" photo to the media.
She said she felt "unlucky" that the unflattering photo was what had propelled her to international fame.
