The jury in the trial of murder accused Gable Tostee has heard Kiwi Warriena Wright's terrifying final moments.

In a three-hour audio recording Tostee secretly made the night they met after a Tinder hook up, the court heard Ms Wright scream "No" repeatedly and "leave me alone" before she went quiet.

The prosecution claims Tostee tried to strangle her before locking her outside on the balcony and she was so terrified she tried to climb down.

"You're lucky I haven't thrown you off the balcony you goddamn psycho little b****. Who the f*** do you think you are?" Tostee said in the recording.

Tostee claims Ms Wright was violent towards him.

Ms Wright is heard saying "I will destroy your jaw".

Tostee says "I don't deserve this shit, I'm a f***ing nice guy. Are you going to fucking mai-thai me?".

After Ms Wright falls 14 storeys Tostee leaves the apartment and phones his dad to tell him he's got "a bit of a situation".

"I forced her out on the balcony and I think she might've jumped off. I'm f***ed, I don't know what to do, there are millions of cops everywhere."

"What if she's dead, what if she jumped? I hope she's not dead?

And later he repeatedly says: "It's not my fault....why does this shit happen to me?"

Tostee didn't flinch as the audio recording was played to the court in front of the jury, media and his family.

The audio of Tostee ordering pizza after Ms Wright fell was not played in court as it wasn't deemed to be relevant.

Ms Wright's family chose not to attend court as they found it too upsetting.
