The murder trial for the Gold Coast man accused of killing New Zealander Warriena Tagpuno Wright is due to start on Monday in the Brisbane Supreme Court.
Gable Tostee is accused of killing Ms Wright after meeting her on the dating app Tinder.
She fell to her death from the 14th floor balcony of Tostee's high-rise Avalon Apartments unit in Surfers Paradise in the early hours of August 8, 2014.
The 26-year-old from Wellington was on a two-week holiday in Australia to attend a friend's wedding.
Tostee, a carpet layer, has pleaded not guilty to her murder.
The 30-year-old will be represented by high-profile barrister Saul Holt QC at the trial, which is expected to take seven to eight days.
