Donald Trump's son Eric could be in trouble after posting a photo of his ballot paper on Twitter.

It's illegal in New York to share pictures of filled-in election ballots.

Eric Trump's Tweet (@erictrump/Twitter)

"It is an incredible honour to vote for my father!" Eric wrote in the tweet, since deleted. "He will do such a great job for the USA!"

He's not the only one to - perhaps inadvertently - break the law by sharing their vote with the world. WWE legend Ric Flair promised to make America "wooooo" again in his tweet, showing he'd voted for himself.

The veteran wrestler announced his candidacy only two weeks ago, with rapper Waka Flocka Flame his running mate.
