Pregnant woman pulled from massive China pile-up

Fire crews were forced to smash the windscreen of a bus in order to free passengers trapped after a serious crash in China on Monday (local time).

A pregnant woman had to be taken to hospital after the rescue, but miraculously the other 19 passengers escaped serious injury.

The wreck occurred after a concrete mixing truck lost control on the highway and smashed into the bus, causing the bus to veer off the road and hit an embankment.

Rescue workers couldn't open the bus door and had to smash the front window in order to free those trapped within.

Four other cars were also involved in the pile-up.
