A massive traffic jam on a Los Angeles motorway has been caught on camera, as Californians try to get home for Thanksgiving.
ABC7 Eyewitness News captured the scene from its helicopter, in which the city night looks "lit up like a Christmas tree", as one Facebook commenter put it.
The Interstate 405 freeway where the "complete gridlock" happened is one of the most clogged roads in the US.
"Everyone out side of L.A.: "Wow!" Everyone in L.A.: "We call this Tuesday," another person said.
The footage has quickly gone viral, with at least 14 million views in its first hours online.
