A gunman is reportedly on the loose in Paris, after armed police raided a travel agency he was allegedly trying to rob on Friday evening.
Six hostages were released in the incident, but the offender has not been caught.
The travel agency, which is used in particular by Asian customers who deal in cash transactions, has previously been held up, the source added.
French police were asking drivers to bypass the area where the robbery took place on Boulevard Massena, in the southern district of Paris.
