Footage from an annual surf competition off the Californian coast has been released, but what makes it interesting is that no humans are participating - they're all dogs.
Videographer Mike Lucas released a supercut of clips from the 2016 Unleashed by Petco Surf City Surf Dog competition, which took place at Huntington Beach near the end of last year.
The video shows a handful of canines taking to wave-riding like naturals, and also features some footage of the dogs getting absolutely pitted in the surf.
A number of dogs took part in the event, which involved breeds ranging from bulldogs to labradors riding waves that measured about five feet.
The next event, which has been dubbed "the premier dog surfing competition on the planet", will be in September 2017.
