A Chinese shop owner who found the front door of his store smashed into a million pieces has discovered just how it happened.
Nothing was stolen in the incident - and CCTV footage has confirmed that the smashed glass door had nothing to do with a robbery attempt, or even humans.
A video posted on social media shows that it was a game of cat-and-mouse - or rather, cat-and-dog - that resulted in the shattered door.
In the footage, a cat is seen running at speed away from the canine, and the dog follows - except it doesn't see the glass and runs headfirst into the door.
That in turn causes it to topple, and the dog recovers quickly to sprint away and avoid the falling glass.
