Police have released "terrifying" footage showing a gang abducting a man from an English pub while customers look on in shock.
The CCTV footage shows the young man sitting down to enjoy a beer with his friends.
Then a group of men start circling him. They grab him and drag him out of the pub, and he's forced into a car.
"This was a terrifying event for the young man involved and it's fortunate he didn't sustain any lasting injuries," says Temporary Detective Chief Inspector Duncan Wood
"Thankfully, incidents of this kind are rare in Avon and Somerset but when they do happen we take them extremely seriously."
Fortunately, the victim managed to escape about 10km away.
A 32-year-old man and a 28-year-old man have been arrested in connection with this incident. They have both been released on bail until 17 February.
