Even though the Don has done more in the last week of his presidency than some may have in their entire terms, most Americans seem to approve of his progress thus far.

Just under 50 percent of Americans are supportive of his achievements so far, while 41 percent disagree, according to a new poll by Politico and Morning Consult.

But despite the support of his work so far, more than 58 percent of Americans believe the country itself is going in the wrong direction.

This relates to the shock executive order handed out by Mr Trump banning citizens from seven Muslim countries enraging millions not only in America but around the world.

That order has since seen numerous lawsuits, protests and petitions trying to reverse the order.

A Reuters poll has also come back with controversial results showing 49 percent of Americans believe putting a halt to visitors from Muslim countries made them feel safer.

Mr Trump enforced an executive order on January, 27, banning all citizens from Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen from entering the United States of America for at least 90 days.
