Children can be really good at making friends, be they real, imaginary or inanimate.
One girl, Rayna, in the US has done the latter in an adorable fashion, mistaking a disused water heater on the street for a robot.
The 24-second clip, uploaded to YouTube, shows her looking up at her new friend with robot-like features, including a panel with eye-like holes.
"Hi wobot," she repeats.
Despite its cold robotic silence, she decides to extend her hand of friendship and wanders up to it, her arms wide open for a loving embrace.
"I love you wobot," she says.
There are no details of where or when the moment took place, but was uploaded to YouTube on Monday.
