A pedestrian was nearly wiped out by a truck and a following car as he walked along the exit lane on an Australian freeway.
The man, wearing a hi-viz was trying to pick up a loose ladder off the Princes Freeway in Victoria.
A clip posted to DashCam Owners Australia shows the truck in front anxiously tapping on the brakes, swerving once to avoid the fallen ladder and then swerving back the other way to avoid the pedestrian.
"Idiot," says the car driver, but not everyone agrees with him.
Some comments on the original post are appreciative he took the ladder out of harm's way, but some can't understand why he put himself in the way either.
