In what may be the cutest animal attack ever, a baby elephant has helped its mother charge at a group of tourists.

The video was shot at the Kruger National Park, showing the safari party approach a herd of wild elephants in their car.

But the elephants are unhappy at the intrusion, and begin flapping their ears and pawing at the ground.

Suddenly an irate mother breaks into a charge. It's followed by a calf, its tiny legs moving as quickly as possible as it struggles to keep up.

The rangers throw their vehicle into reverse to escape, and the elephants are satisfied with their victory.

"It was a very memorable encounter. Our guide thought that there could be a problem as soon as we came upon the group and told us that we may have to reverse quickly to leave them alone. How right he was," one person said.
