Two speedboat racers have cheated death after their boat crashed and flipped onto rocks.
The pair were racing in the Idaho Riggins Race last week. As they tore down the turbulent river, one man celebrated by thrusting his arms into the air.
But he celebrated too soon - as their speedboat soon hit a rough patch and became airborne.
The driver lost control and their craft headed straight towards the jagged cliffs, where it hit a rock and flipped.
Onlookers were shocked as the pair were submerged under the boat.
However the men managed to escape, and clung to the hull until rescue arrived.
"Everyone was in complete shock, we were all just hoping neither of them were injured," witness Jenni Stout told a local news agency.
"My heart completely stopped, I just kept thinking, 'please be okay, please be okay', waiting to see them emerge at the surface of the water."
