There was no Sean Spicer dressed up in a bunny suit at the annual White House Easter Egg Roll on Monday (local time) - but eagle-eyed viewers were still rewarded with a comical moment.
This year's edition of the Easter Egg Roll saw most of the President's family and approximately 21,000 others invited to the White House's South Lawn to help celebrate the 139-year tradition.
However, ahead of the festivities, US President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania and their son Barron were standing on the White House's Truman Balcony in preparation for the national anthem.
Mr Trump clearly forgot that it was etiquette to hold his hand over his heart as the anthem played, and Melania - likely as well as many of those in attendance - realised his mistake.
In a subtle moment that proves even the leader of the free world will take his wife's advice without question, Melania can be seen brushing her husband's hand to remind him to lift it across his chest.
The moment was spotted by many watching at home - and it has now become a talking point on social media, with many taking to Twitter to lampoon the President for his faux pas.
