A three-day-old baby and her teenage parents who disappeared from a Sydney hospital have been found safe and well.

Jayden Lavender, 14, and Jenifer Morrison, 15, left Nepean Hospital with their baby girl Aria in the night, sparking an alert and a widespread police search yesterday.

CCTV footage showed the pair leaving with an unidentified man.

Authorities were concerned for the safety of the baby, who still required hospital care, and appealed for the parents to return.

"For Jenifer and Jayden, the two parents, you're not in trouble, we'd really appreciate if you could go to the hospital so we can check out and see if you're alright and just make sure everything is fine with you," Detective Chief Inspector Grant Healy said.

"The doctors do still need to see your baby and make sure it's progressing nicely."

The pair were found safe in a park in the suburb of Willmot, about 12km from the hospital.

"Police are currently speaking to the teenagers and ambulance officers are assessing the infant as a precaution," a statement from NSW Police said.
