A Chinese woman needed over 30 stitches after riding her scooter head-first into a truck.
In Xuancheng in eastern China on Friday (local time), dramatic CCTV footage captured the woman driving her scooter while apparently looking at her phone. Distracted, she veers to the right, straight towards a large truck.
She appears to look up just before she crashes her scooter head-first into the vehicle, before falling to the ground.
A local television station reported she was taken to the hospital with deep cuts on her face, and required stitches.
