Kate Middleton topless photos: Six people on trial for publication

  • 03/05/2017

A magazine editor and two photographers are on trial over the publication of topless pictures of the Duchess of Cambridge nearly five years ago.

Two French publications were placed under investigation after the images of Kate Middleton sunbathing were printed in 2012.

The long-lens shots showed Kate Middleton enjoying a holiday in Provence with her husband Prince William.

Celebrity gossip magazine Closer published the photos, prompting the couple to take legal action.

Lawyers acting on behalf of the royals are seeking more than $2 million in damages.
