Britons plan mass-mooning for Trump visit

Britons angry about the upcoming visit by US President Donald Trump are mounting a rearguard action to make it as embarrassing as possible.

In true Braveheart style, they're planning to moon him.

A number of posts are being shared on social media with the hashtag #ShowYourRumpToTrump, in the wake of Mr Trump's controversial comments on the recent London Bridge terror attack.

"Pathetic excuse by London Mayor Sadiq Khan who had to think fast on his 'no reason to be alarmed' statement. MSM is working hard to sell it!" Mr Trump tweeted in the aftermath of the attack.

He'd previously used the attack to justify his proposed "travel ban" on Muslims.

Mr Khan has since called for Mr Trump's visit to be cancelled.

"I don't think we should roll out the red carpet to the president of the USA in the circumstances where his policies go against everything we stand for," he told Channel 4 News.

A Facebook event for the mass-mooning has been scheduled for August 8, but the exact dates of Mr Trump's first state visit to the UK haven't been settled on.

"He can wave at our arses and only our arses as he fulfils his dream of riding down The Mall in the golden State carriage," the page ' Gigantic British Moon at Trump on his State visit' reads.

"It's been too long, people. Now is the moment for a collective national moon."

One Twitter user suggested adding whoopee cushions to the protest, so the President could "hear some Trumps".
