A Florida woman has been arrested after trying to give away her two-year-old son to strangers in a restaurant parking lot.
Amber Warner, 31, approached a couple at Vero Beach on Saturday and unsuccessfully tried to give them her son, who she was carrying.
"I can't do it," Warner said, according to police, before placing the toddler on the ground and driving away in a black truck.
The couple then called the police.
She was later found at her home and arrested on charges unlawful desertion of a child, and also for resisting arrest without violence as she was taken into custody.
Her son, who appeared to be in "relatively good health", is in the custody of the Florida Department of Children and Families.
