An Algerian man has reportedly been jailed for two years after dangling a baby out of a high-rise building in a bid to get Facebook likes.
"1000 likes or I will drop him," the video was captioned.
The baby was held by only a single t-shirt and appeared to be many floors off the ground.
Al Arabiya reports after watching the video many social media users reported the man, who has not been named.
After being arrested on Sunday (local time) he has been charged with endangering a baby's safety.
Algeria's Ennahar TV reports the man, who is a relative of the child, denied putting any life at risk and claims the circulating screengrab had been altered by other users.
