US police were called to a fast food drive-thru because a woman was "mad" her chicken nuggets weren't ready fast enough.

The Waco Police Department, in Texas, recounted the customer's nugget rage in a Facebook post.

"Officers called to a restaurant drive-thru because a customer was mad her nuggets didn't get cooked quick enough and why she couldn't get them for free," the post reads.

It goes on to say two officers were reluctantly sent to the scene to try and calm the woman down.

The post doesn't specify whether the woman had to pay for her food, but it does say she didn't get them for free.

It also doesn't specify which chain's nuggets the woman had been craving so badly.
