A backpack containing a pig's head has been dumped at the gates of an Islamic College in Australia as a mark of religious discrimination.
Security footage has captured the bag, adorned with a swastika, being dropped from a blue Subaru in the early hours of Wednesday morning in Brisbane.
Muslims are not allowed to eat pork, with the Qu'ran saying: "Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine."
Acting college chairman Ali Kadri told ABC Radio the footage captures the number plate, and he is "confident" police will catch the perpetrators.
"Queensland police's response to this hate crime is phenomenal and we don't believe there is any threat to safety of staff and kids," he added on Facebook.
The incident is under investigation.
