A furious US man has taken his feud with his neighbours to a new level by mowing the word "A-HOLE" into his lawn.

Brian Juel has been in a battle with his neighbours, Cindy and Brian Zechenelly ever since they built a large garage on their property in Sequim, Washington, and decided to paint the entire building purple.

Mr Juel took it upon himself to share with the world what he thought of his neighbours - the insult coming with an arrow pointing directly at the garage.

Pictures of the insult have been circulating on social media this week, first noticed on Google Maps by a Reddit user.

It is unsure when the insult was first produced, but it is believed it was created between November 2011 and July 2013, a few years after the purple structure was built in 2009.

Mr Juel's disapproval of his neighbours can still be seen on Google Maps.

Mr Juel wasn't the only one who disliked the new building - other neighbours launched a petition to the Clallam County Assessor because they claimed it devalued their own properties.

As of last year the building was still painted purple, and the insult still remained carved into Mr Juel's property.
