There is no better time to be a kid in Florida than at this exact moment.
One Florida school district has just banned homework across the county, affecting 31 elementary schools.
They say research has shown that students who are given homework do not perform better, or get better grades, than those who are not.
Students are now instead expected to do 20 minutes of reading every night, which they say is more effective.
So should the same be done here on home soil?
