An automatic door has proven too much for an Australian robber who became trapped inside a petrol station he had just robbed.
The man entered the Melbourne store armed with scissors, and stole cash and cigarettes from across the counter.
He had a little trouble getting into the store to begin with - but had much more trouble on the way out, where he could be seen trying to activate the doors for several minutes.
He even tried to smash the glass doors with the stolen cash register before they finally worked.
Police are still looking for the man, who was wearing underpants marked "Friday".
September 20, the day of the offence, was a Wednesday.
