A devoted father died in a car crash last Friday just after finishing Christmas shopping for his daughter.
Andrew Blum, 29, was driving with his brother Jerod Paulus, 32, in Idaho, United States when he lost control of his car while navigating a curve, KHQ reports.
The car was allegedly in flames when emergency services arrived and pulled the brothers from the wreckage.
Local police released a statement saying the pair were not wearing seatbelts and were both immediately taken to hospital, where Mr Blum later died. His brother is expected to recover.
Sadie Brown, Mr Blum's former partner and mother of his three-year-old daughter Emma, said Mr Blum's entire life revolved around his daughter.
"He was a very good dad. He loved Emma with everything he had," she told KHQ.
Ms Brown said she had spoken to Mr Blum minutes before the crash, reportedly telling her that he had just finished Christmas shopping for Emma and wanted to take her out to lunch the next day.
A GoFundMe page has been established to help Mr Blum's family pay for his funeral.
