An Ohio college student has captured the moment his father proposed to his mother after having previously been married for 20 years before divorcing.
Jeffrey Agan says his parents took time out to work on themselves after the divorce, but eventually began dating again years after their first marriage ended.
In a video posted to Twitter, Mr Agan shared the moment his father proposed by giving his mother a written poem and surprising her with the ring.
"My parents were married for more than 20 years, divorced, fought a lot, went to work on themselves," he wrote.
"Years later, they start dating and as of yesterday, this [the proposal] happened.
"Congrats Mom and Dad! True love always finds its way back around."
In a Gofundme page fundraising for the wedding, Mr Agan says his parents Jeff Senior and Lorrie Agan had eight children before their divorce.
After the marriage ended they worked on themselves, with his father going to AA meetings and changing jobs while his mother found self-empowerment and meditation.
He hopes to help raise enough money to give them a dream wedding.
