Australian police have seized two enormous pythons from a home in Brisbane, along with drugs and a Taser.

A three-metre olive python weighing 15 kilograms and a two-metre albino python were both found at the east Brisbane property.

The reptiles have been placed into the care of the SPCA and the Department of Environment and Science.

Police also found a homemade Taser, knuckledusters and drug utensils at the property.

A 41-year-old east Brisbane man has been ordered to appear in court for charges relating to taking a protected animal, possessing dangerous drugs, possessing drug utensils and unlawful possession of a weapon.
