Ursula's head fell off during one of the rides at Disneyland and it's terrifying

Disneyland may have lost the "happiest place on earth" moniker for some children, after a group happened upon the decapitated remains of a robot mid-ride.

Halfway through the Florida park's "Little Mermaid Ariel's Undersea Adventure" attraction, several children discovered the Ursula robot with her head grotesquely hanging off.

Video shot from inside the ride shows the robot continuing to speak and sing as normal, while children say "it's broken" in the background.

The person who shot the video does not wish to be named, but they told Huffington Post the children were visibly upset, when they left the ride.

"Immediately after we got off, we were ushered out, along with everyone else, and the employees looked very concerned," she told Huffington Post.

"Many people had seen Ursula decapitated, including kids who understandably were upset.

"It was a pretty freaky thing to see."

The kids certainly didn't find it funny, but on social media, adults were quick to poke fun at the uncharacteristic break for Disney.

It is not yet known whether the ride has been repaired.
