The video of a 98-year-old man's astonished response to discovering his age has gone viral.
The video posted to YouTube shows the unnamed man's son asked him to guess his age, initially he suggested 79 but his son kept telling him to guess higher until he eventually reached 98.
"Your ass!" he told his son in shock.
"I am not 98 years old. Holy f**k, how did I get so old so fast?"
The man would have been born in 1919, meaning he has by now lived through World War II, the Cold War and other major world events.
The video has quickly reached over 900,000 views on YouTube and over 27,000 likes.
Many commenters praised the man for having such a youthful energy at the age of 98.
"It's kinda sweet. He doesn't seem mad, just genuinely shocked, like he's been partying the whole time," one commenter wrote.
"I pray that not only will I live to be 98, but also be as sharp as he is at nearly a century old," said another.
"Kudo's to him. I hope he gets another twenty [years] or so and breaks a record."
