A 14-year-old is recovering from minor injuries after he was shot in the leg in Hamilton last night.
Police and the Armed Offenders Squad were called to Norrie Street around 8:30pm, and have been guarding the scene overnight.
It's not yet clear what led to the shooting.
Police say they've been working at another address in a different neighbourhood, but did not give any further details about a connection to the shooting incident.
The street has been the scene of other violent incidents recently. In February 2015 a man was shot dead by a teenager at a Norrie St property.
