An 87-year-old woman was hit by a vehicle in the Auckland suburb of Panmure today, police are reporting.
She has been taken to Auckland Hospital with head injuries, and her family has been contacted.
Police say the driver of the vehicle is assisting with their enquiries and they are not looking for anyone else in relation to this incident.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating the incident.
