Arrests after Dunedin sports ground robbery

Four Dunedin men, aged between 16 and 22 have been arrested after a 20-year-old man was allegedly assaulted and had his phone stolen last night at the Oval sports ground.

The group, aged 16, 20, 21 and 22, are due to appear in court today on charges of robbery.

Police are looking for anyone who may have seen the group acting suspiciously at the grounds or around Princes St.

Another man had allegedly been verbally threatened and chased by the group at the grounds around this time also, but managed to run away. Police wish to get in touch with this person.
