Attempted abduction in Dunedin

Information is being sought regarding an attempted abduction on Forth St, Dunedin yesterday.

An 18-year-old woman was allegedly grabbed by the back seat passenger of a parked vehicle around 4:25pm.

The driver of the vehicle is also said to have been involved in attempting to push the woman into the car.

Fortunately, the victim was able to fight free of her attackers without injury.

She described the vehicle as being an older 1990s station wagon in poor conditions, with roof racks. It was parked on the left side of Forth St.
