Auckland needs to fix transport funding shortfall

The Auckland City Council needs to find the money to fund a $10 to $15-billion shortfall in funding for its major transport projects.

One of the options being looked at is introducing congestion charging in the city.

Deloitte's head of transport, Ian Simpson, spoke to Firstline this morning.
