Around a dozen passengers were left shaken after a bus ploughed through six parked cars before coming to rest on a concrete wall near Porirua today.
It's believed the driver had a medical incident and was taken to hospital with moderate injuries.
The crash happened around 9:30am on Kenepuru Dr.
A witness to the crash opened the backdoor to let the stunned passengers out, while another was just metres from her car when it was written off by the bus.
Police and nearby workers were left to pick up the debris, including windshields and car bumpers, after the bus was towed away.
