Car carnage after disorderly Wellington party

Wellington Police are appealing for witnesses after a disorderly party on Friday night left a woman in hospital with ankle injuries.

Police were called to Mortimer Terrace, Te Aro, to help clear people from the area following a party.

However as people were leaving, someone released the handbrake on a vehicle, which rolled down the street, striking several people.

One woman suffered a suspected fractured ankle and another two suffered minor injuries.

They were treated at the scene by ambulance staff, and all three were taken to hospital by ambulance.

Four people were arrested at the scene due to disorder.

Police would like to hear from witnesses or anyone who may have footage from the scene.
