The flags were flying in New Plymouth today, with crowds out in full force to celebrate the royal visit.
Prince Charles and Camilla were welcomed to Taranaki with a powhiri by school children, before heading for a cup of tea and some lamingtons with locals, where the duchess even tried her hand at weaving.
Today is the second to last day of their tour, before they head to Australia tomorrow morning.
Most of those in the crowd in New Plymouth were children, and many took the day off school to meet royalty.
Prince Charles even took the time to meet and hold baby Alba, who is nearly the same age as his granddaughter Princess Charlotte.
"It was so exciting! I'm still shaking," Alba's mum said after the encounter.
The couple then went their separate ways. Camilla headed to the Len Lye Centre, where she checked out some local art, while Prince Charles got to experience some of the local scenery with a coastal walk.
After that, he saw a different kind of scenery visiting a dairy farm, and found some common ground with local farmers.
All in all, it was another busy day full of Kiwi experiences for the royal couple.
