Police in Christchurch are hunting a dangerous sex offender who's actively avoiding arrest.
Thirty-six year-old Tasi Faitala Selini has a long list of sex and violence convictions.
Police say they have genuine fears in relation to his potential offending against females and vulnerable members of the community, including children.
Selini tends to form relationships with vulnerable females.
He is considered to be dangerous and police advise members of the public should call 111 immediately if they see him or his red VW Gold, registration XZ3204.
At this stage, it is believed Selini is still in the Christchurch Area.
