Messages of support are flooding in for Boy star James Rolleston, who was hurt in a car accident on Tuesday night
Sources have told Newshub the 19-year-old suffered a head injury and multiple fractures after the car he was in hit a bridge near Opotiki.
Reports say Rolleston is now awake, talking and responsive.
The producer of Rolleston's most recent film The Rehearsal - currently screening at the New Zealand International Film Festival - said the cast and crew are still reeling from the news.
"All of us who worked so closely with James on The Rehearsal (and who saw him on Saturday night at the premiere) are devastated by the news of his car accident. We send our love to James and his family."
But they aren't the only ones who have been shaken by the event with many taking to Twitter to show their support for the star.
