Crew of FV Jubilee formally identified

Police have formally identified three men recovered from the fishing vessel FV Jubilee, which sunk on October 18.

The bodies of 55-year-old Terry Donald Booth and 35-year-old Paul Russell Bennett were recovered on Monday. The body of 47-year-old Jared Reese Husband was recovered yesterday.

"On behalf of the Royal New Zealand Navy, I'd like to express my sincere condolences to the families of the three crewmen of FV Jubilee," acting Maritime component commander Martin Walker says.

The search and rescue recovery is now complete. The Navy support vessel HMNZS MANAWANUI and her crew departed for the North Island this morning.

An investigation into the sinking is ongoing as well as a Transport Accident Investigation Commission (TAIC) inquiry.
