A train has derailed in Christchurch and blocked a busy road railway crossing.
The train was blocking the crossing on Lincoln Rd close to Moorhouse Ave.
KiwiRail says it's expected to take three hours to clear completely, but carriages blocking Lincoln Rd have already been moved.
The road has been reopened and no further traffic delays are expected. There were no reported injuries, police say.
