A man remains in critical condition in hospital after a serious crash near Dunedin on Valentine's Day.
Emergency services were called after a Hilux truck and cyclist collided on Main Road in Fairfield around 8:20pm.
The 35-year-old cyclist is undergoing treatment at Dunedin Hospital.
The road was closed for several hours, and re-opened at 12:40am and the driver of the Hilux involved has spoken to police.
Dunedin police and a serious crash investigator from Alexandra are investigating.
