A fire at a south Auckland waste paper facility in south Auckland is believed to be under control.
The blaze, at Carter Holt Harvey's recycled paper mill in Penrose, was sparked in a recycling bin shortly before 4pm.
Northern Fire Communications shift manager Steve Smith said there were six pumping appliances and two aerial specialists at the scene.
He told 3 News the fire was approximately 30 square metres and was now under control.
